It was so much fun at MSJ last night as MSJ defeated Proctor in girls basketball. It’s always special when a player gets their 1000th career point and Jenna Eaton accomplished the feat for MSJ last night. Jenna is the 3rd girls basketball player at MSJ to accomplish the feat. The other two were on hand last night which was really neat. Kim Levins who is now a basketball official and was the MSJ coach when the Mounties won the D3 title in 2002 scored her 1000th point back in 1987. The other player was Monica Schmelzenbach who scored #1000 last year. Monica is currently a freshmen at West Point where her sister Claire is a sophomore.

Hope the news is good on David Price’s elbow. If Price does need Tommy John surgery, it could be a blessing in disguise as the Sox may go after Doug Fister or better still Jose Quintana.
