What happened to Adam Jones of the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park on Monday night of course was disgusting. Boston for years has been trying to rid itself of the tag of being a racist city. I always tried to argue that it happens everywhere and it does, but it doesn’t solve anything. I also was one of those who would say that it’s just a few, not the majority, but that too doesn’t solve anything either.

All that being said ,yesterday the piling on of Boston continued all day on talk shows both national and local. Some of it was ok and much of it was “over the top”. It still doesn’t solve anything.

The ovation given to Adam Jones last night was nice, but again it doesn’t solve anything. The fan or fans who did that stuff probably aren’t even thinking they did anything wrong. That’s the problem!

I thought we had come a long way, but apparently it’s nowhere close to where it should be. I feel disgusted and ashamed that we still have such a long way to go!
