Good win for the Red Sox yesterday as they take the rubber game of the three game series with the Yankees. Huge four game series starting tonight at Cleveland.

Come on folks Chris Sale has pitched great against the Yankees. He pitched well enough to lose on Saturday night, but he wasn’t terrible. He’s been great in the other games though with an ERA well under 2. This isn’t a Pedro Martinez the “Yankees are my daddy” type of thing.

Centennial Field in Burlington got a shout out on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball as the “Little League Classic” was played at Bowman Field in Williamsport, Pennyslvania. Bowman Field is the 2nd oldest minor league facility in the US as it was built in 1926. Centennial Field was built in 1904 and ready for baseball in 1906. Bowman Field however has hosted minor league baseball longer than Centennial Field has.
