The Bruins and Rangers both winning their opening games in the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs. The Bruins beating Ottawa and the Rangers beating Montreal. They may or may not go on to win their respective series, but it was the first win for both teams against their opponents this season. It will tell you again about the importance of the regular season.

Speaking of the regular season, the Celtics get the #1 seed in the East and Cleveland gets the #2 seed in the East. Again does anybody really give the Celtics a chance if they play Cleveland with home court or not? I don’t. One good thing is that the Celtics get #8 Chicago and Cleveland gets #7 seed Indiana in the first round. A better match-up for the Celtics than Indiana!

I’ve said it before, but I don’t like knuckleballers.  Yes sometimes they are unhittable, but sometimes they get lit up as Steven Wright did last night. It’s pure luck, like slow pitch softball. “Like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.”
