Let’s talk about game to game again:
Heard on MLB Network yesterday that the Atlanta Braves devastating loss to the Red Sox on Wednesday will stick with them for awhile. Really? For how long? Atlanta defeated Arizona last night 7-6 in 10 innings. Atlanta blew a 2 run lead in the last of the 9th, but came back to win on the road. When are you people going to get it? Momentum or reverse momentum or whatever you want to call it does not carry over from game to game.
The Red Sox came back to beat Atlanta on Wednesday so they can carry that over to tonight’s game right? Of course not! The Sox may or may not win the game tonight, but it will have nothing to do with the game on Wednesday.
