I went 12-4 in my high school football picks and now stand at 37-11 overall.

A few surprises for me… Woodstock’s easy win over Otter Valley. Not so much the win, but the score. also Brattleboro’s win over Middlebury.

Rutland got solid efforts from a number of players and got a great performance from quarterback Bailey Peters in its easy win over South Burlington. I thought Nick Liscinsky did a nice job at quarterback for South Burlington too.

Rutland at St. Johnsbury should be a beauty this Saturday at 1PM on NSN!

Jimmy Garoppolo was great before suffering his shoulder injury yesterday. I thought rookie Jacoby Brissett was pretty good too. The defense almost let the game slip away.
