Chris Sale was so so in his final tune-up before the American League Division Series last night. I’m concerned, but the Red Sox claim that Sale was just working on his mechanics. I’m concerned about Sale’s velocity too, but Sale and the Sox say there is nothing wrong physically.
I will say that if Sale is still able to throw 98 or 99 MPH and there is nothing wrong physically then why waste your bullets in a meaningless game. If he can still reach 98 or 99, I wish he threw at least one or two to convince the fans and me too.
I went 7-9 in the NFL last week and my overall record is now 24-22.
