I enjoyed Don Orsillo, AJ and David Cone on the Red Sox vs. Yankee game on Saturday and so many fans were talking about how they miss Orsillo. I love Don Orsillo and he is great, but he isn’t as good as Dave O’Brien. Sorry he isn’t. Also O’Brien and Dennis Eckersley are great together so some of you please stop your whining!
High school football week #5 and Rutland, , Rice, Mt. Mansfield and Burlington/South Burlington are all at 4-1 in Division 1. After next week’s games, 2 teams will be 5-1. Rice will be at Rutland on Friday night and Burlington/South Burlington will be at Mt. Mansfield on Saturday afternoon. Again the two winners will be 5-1 and the two losers will be 4-2.
In the latest QPR standings Rice is #1, Mt. Mansfield #2, Rutland #3 and Burlington/South Burlington #4. If the playoffs started today #3 Rutland would host #6 St. Johnsbury in the quarter-finals.
I went 12-3 in my high school picks this week and I now stand at 53-24.
