The fake punt on 4th and 11 cost Georgia a chance at the national championship. As if that is not enough, Georgia coach Kirby “Not So Smart” who was responsible for the idiotic call campaigns for his team to be in the “final four” even though his team was not a conference champion and had two losses. Come on man! Kirby, it was your fault. Own up to it!
Listen I really don’t doubt that Georgia is indeed one of the top four teams, but Oklahoma won its conference championship and avenged its only loss of the year and deserves to be there. The committee got it right and it really was a no brainer!
I do think if Georgia won the game, Alabama still would’ve been in the “final four” because at least you could say it was a team that only had one loss. That’s the difference!
Back to 4th and 11. That’s just it, it was 4th and 11! If you go for it on 4th and 2 and don’t make it, that’s one thing because it was worth a shot and the odds are a lot better. Not 4th and 11! Stupid decision! Just stupid!
