The Patriots got a huge break on the way to their victory over the Jets yesterday as an apparent touchdown by Austin Seferian-Jenkins was ruled a touch back. I was surprised and thought at the very least the ball would be placed on the one yard line. I actually was watching when the play happened, saw they were going to a review and was pretty sure it was going to be a touchdown so I switched to the “Red Zone” for a couple of minutes and when I got back I was surprised to see that the Patriots had the ball and the score was still 24-14 Patriots.

It was a break for the Patriots, but keep in mind that if the call was a touchdown it didn’t guarantee that the Jets would’ve won the game. Remember the Jets did have a 14-0 lead at one point.

The Red Sox are interviewing managerial candidates and these are the guys I don’t want in no particular order:

Ron Gardenhire, Brad Ausmus, Dusty Baker, Jason Varitek or David Ortiz to name a few. My guy is Alex Cora who reports say was interviewed yesterday, but he is a little busy right now as the Houston Astros bench coach.

I went 11-4 in the high school football picks so my overall record now is 83-23.
