Congratulations to Norwich mens hockey coach Mike McShane on career victory #700 on Saturday night as Norwich blanked Castleton 4-0 in mens hockey. Truly a legend. Mike has 700 more career wins than I do, but we do have something in common. We both grew up on the North Shore of Boston!

The North beat the South 14-13 in the Senior Bowl Game on Saturday and it was the final high school football game of the season. I’m somewhat surprised at the low scoring final score. The game at times has been an offensive avalanche.

Middlebury’s Mickey Heinecken who coordinates the game continues to be “living right” as the weather for the game has been great! It was especially nice on Saturday with sunny skies and the temperature in the 60’s. If the game was played one day later it would’ve been played in a steady snow.

I agree with co-host George Commo. Why is UVM playing Lyndon State in mens basketball? Yes Division 1 UVM defeated Division 3 Lyndon State 79-20 on Saturday. It was 43-4 at halftime. It was ridiculous! Just as ridiculous as Virginia playing Chaminade. Wait a minute!

The Harvard-Yale football rivalry really is a rivalry where you can throw the records out the window.

Yale was 2-7, Harvard 7-2. Yale had no business beating Harvard, but it did 21-14! Bulldog! Bulldog! Bow Wow Wow! Eli Yale!
