The UVM mens basketball team defeated Northern Kentucky 66-64 in the championship game of the Islands of the Bahamas Tournament. Now the Cats have their home opener on Wednesday night hosting Maine-Fort Kent. HUH?

The Middlebury College field hockey team won its 3rd Division 3 national championship and 2nd in 3 years defeated Messiah of Pennsylvania 4-0 in the championship game. Well done!

The North beat the South in the Senior Bowl game on Saturday at Middlebury College to put a capping on the high school football season. It’s funny that 5 of the 6 teams in the state championship games were from the south and that was the case last year too, but the North has now won four straight North-South games and leads in the series 10-7.

Why did Buffalo start Nathan Peterman yesterday against the LA Chargers? Peterman threw 5 interceptions in his NFL debut. J. Peterman from Seinfeld would’ve done better!
