I wrote here yesterday that the Patriots signing of James Harrison was a win-win. If it pans out and remember it’s only for the rest of the season it will be worth it. If it doesn’t then it’s no big deal! I heard a reporter yesterday who said all Harrison has to do is make one big play in the playoffs or in the Super Bowl and it will be worth it. The reporter went on to say that it  was basically all they got from Chris Long last year. One big play from Long and it was in the Super Bowl. Was it worth it? You bet it was!

I know there are a lot of college bowl games and many of the teams at 6-6 don’t deserve to be there and the games are meaningless, but football is football. I’ve managed to get a peak at several of the games and it’s still fun to look at individual players. Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen is one of those players. He’s good one. If you are a fan of any team in the NFL especially a team in need of a quarterback you should be paying attention to some of these games. What else is on TV anyway?
