You can go way back when I talk about the Patriots’ Achilles being their defense. I’ve said it over and over again and HELLO! the Boston media finally jumped on it yesterday after the Pats’ loss to Seattle on Sunday. It’s been obvious to me so what took them so long?

Some say it’s the scheme not the talent. I hope it’s the scheme because if it’s the talent the Patriots are in trouble. At least the scheme is correctable.

I still think Seattle won the game despite Coach Pete Carroll. Going for two points after already being up by 7 was a real head scratcher as I mentioned yesterday. DUMB AND DUMBER!!! Seattle won so it doesn’t matter, but STILL!!!

Corey Seager won the National League Rookie of the Year as I thought he would. Michael Fulmer won the American League Rookie of the Year. He deserves it, but I thought Gary Sanchez of the Yankees would get it. 20 home-runs in just 53 games is pretty impressive. Carlton Fisk of the Red Sox won the American League Rookie of the Year in 1972 and hit just 22 homers for the whole season.

The Managers of the Year will be announced tonight.
