I don’t get so many Patriot fans rooting for San Francisco in the the Super Bowl since if San Francisco wins the 49ers would match the Patriots and the Steelers with six Super Bowl wins. Also:
Jimmy Garoppolo gets a Super Bowl ring [actually his 3rd] so the Patriots should never have traded him. Of course everybody will forget that the Patriots went to the Super Bowl twice since the trade and won one of them.
It’s funny that Jimmy Garoppolo is part of the demons that face a teammate and his coach. Garoppolo was on the Patriots when they beat now teammate Richard Sherman and the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl on the miracle last minute interception by Malcolm Butler.
Garoppolo was on the Patriots when his head coach Kyle Shanahan was the offensive coordinator when his Atlanta Falcons blew a 28-3 lead.
Wes Welker,a coach with the 49ers would be 0-4 in Super Bowls with a loss.
If Kansas City wins:
It would be its 2nd Super Bowl championship and first in 50 years
Andy Reid would have “The Monkey off His Back”
Patrick Mahomes will be the “GOAT” and it would be the first of multiple Super Bowls for him and we will hear about it until at least next season
I don’t have a big rooting interest, but I am slightly hoping for a KC victory.
Either team winning will be somewhat of an annoyance for Patriot fans, but nowhere near as annoying as Giant fans who haven’t made the playoffs in eight years, but are still yapping about their two Super Bowl victories against the Patriots.
Just thinking that Dan Marino got to one Super Bowl and didn’t win it.
I say Kansas City 35 San Francisco 20.
I hope the commercials are good!
