The Nashville Predators are going to the Stanley Cup Finals. How cool is that?

I for one feel that is just great. Music City has boought into hockey in a big way … you watch a game at Bridgestone Arena and it reminds you of a game at Gutterson or Kreitzberg. The fans are really into it.  And their team … featuring maybe the best two top sets of defensemen in the game, including ex-Hab PK Subban … is pretty good. Whomever they get, the Pens or the Sens in the final, is going to be in for a real challenge.

The Red Sox get home tonight with the redhot Texas Rangers coming to town. Sox coming off a weird 3-3 roadtrip … a trip in which they swept two in St. Louis, only to drop three out of four in Oakland. They are one game over 500. Off that, and with all the expectations for this crew coming in, is John Farrell on the hotseat this week?
