In boys basketball last night, Rice defeated Rutland 56-47 as the Raiders had their 43 game winning streak snapped. Quite a run for the two time defending Division 1 state champs as they lost for the first time since December of 2016.
It’s funny and nobody said anything but I get the feeling that there are many fans who didn’t want the streak to be mentioned at all by the media. You know added pressure and all that. The streak was part of the story whether anybody liked it or not.
I went 8-8 in the NFL picks this week and my overall record is now 131-78.
I forgot to include the Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl Game on Saturday in my bowl game predictions. North Carolina A & T defeated Alcorn State. I went with Alcorn State so I went 4-2 in the six bowl games.
