High Schools: VPA Announces Seedings and Pairings for the 2017 Baseball, Softball and Lacrosse Tournaments

MONTPELIER — The Vermont Principals Association has announced the seedings and pairings for the 2017 state baseball, softball and lacrosse tournaments which will get underway with 47 playdown round games on Tuesday.

 

In baseball …

Essex is the top seed in Division One followed by #2 Burr and Burton, #3 CVU and #4 Hartford.

Lamoille is the top seed in Division Two followed by #2 BFA-Fairfax, #3 Otter Valley and #4 U-32.

Enosburg is the top seed in Division Three, followed by #2 Windsor, #3 Randolph and #4 Green Mountain Union.

South Royalton is the top seed in Division Four, followed by #2 Danville, #3 MSJ and #4 Long Trail.

 

In Softball …

Missisquoi is the top seed in Division One, followed by #2 Mt. Anthony, #3 Colchester and #4 Essex.

Mt. Abraham is the top seed in Division Two, followed by #2 Randolph, #3 Lyndon Institute and #4 Fair Haven.

Oxbow is the top seed in Division Three, followed by #2 Leland & Gray, #3 Green Mountaain Union and #4 Enosburg.

West Rutland is the top seed in Division Four, followed by #2 Danville, #3 Whitchester and #4 Blue Mountain.

 

In Boy’s Lacrosse …

South Burlington is top seeded in Division One, followed by #2 CVU, #3 BFA-St. Albans and #4 Burr & Burton.

Milton is the top seed in Division Two, followed by #2 Stowe, #3 Mt. Mansfield and #4 Burlington.

Hartford is the top seed in Divison Three, followed by #2 Stratton Mountain, #3 Montpelier and #4 Mt. Abraham.

 

In Girl’s Lacrosse …

Middlebury is the top seed in Diviison One, followed by #2 Mt. Anthony, #3 south Burlington and #4 Rice.

The Green Mountain Valley School is the top seed in Division Two, followed by #2 Stowe, #3 U-32 and #4 Chelsea.
