The four teams for the NYPL playoffs have been finalized with Vermont winning its first Stedler Division title since 2011 (and fourth division title overall), while Mahoning Valley has also clinched the Pinckney Division. Staten Island and Hudson Valley have the other two playoff spots, but it is still to be determined which will be the McNamara Division champion and which will be the Wild Card team.

Since Vermont will finish with the third-best winning percentage among the three division winners, the Lake Monsters will play their semifinal series against the division winner with the second-best winning percentage. After game one on Saturday, Vermont will play game two and three (if necessary) at the home ballpark of its opponent.  The wild card and division winner with the best win percentage will face each other in the other semifinal series.
