Vermont High School Football – Pairing Set for State Quarterfinals

MIDDLEBURY — The Vermont Interscholastic Football League has set the pairings for the State Quarterfinals this weekend.

In Division One top seeded St. Johnsbury will host number eight Colchester this Saturday afternoon in St.J. Number two Middlebury will host number seven BFA-St.Albans on Friday night on Doc Collins Field. Number three Burr and Burton will host number six Hartford on Saturday in Manchester while number four Rutland will host number five Essex on Friday night in Rutland.

In Division Two all four quarterfinals are set for Friday night, with number one Brattleboro hosting number eight North Country, number two U-32 host number seven Spaulding, number three Bellows Falls hosting number six Lyndon Institute and number four Fair Haven hosting number five Mt.Anthony.

In Division Three there is one game on Friday night when number three Otter Valley host number six Oxbow. The other three quarterfinals will be on Saturday afternoon as top seed Poultney will host Woodstock, number two BFA-Fairfax hosts number seven Mill River and number four Springfield welcomes in number five Windsor.

Thr winners will advance to the state semifinals on November 1st and 2nd with the championship games set for Saturday November 8th in Rutland.
