College Hockey: Norwich Men, Norwich and Middlebury Women Learn NCAA Plans

INDIANAPOLIS, IN. — The Norwich University Men and Women and the Middlebury women have all learned their opponents for the NCAA Division Three Hockey Tournaments.

The Norwich men, 24-2-2 and ranked number one in the country, are the number two seed in the tournament, earning a bye directly into the quarterfinals. They will host that quarterfinal on Saturday, March 21st, meeting the winner of the play in game this Saturday between Plymouth State and Endicott.

The Middlebury women, 21-3-3, earned an at large bid and will host Endicott in a quarterfinal game this Saturday afternoon at Kenyon Arena.

The Norwich women, 22-4-2, earned a spot in the play in round, and will travel to NESCAC playoff champion Amherst on Wednesday night. But if fans want to see the game they will have to view it here on NSN, as Amherst announced late today that the game will be closed to fans due to concerns regarding the coronavirus.
The winner of this game will travel to Plattsburgh on Saturday for a meeting with the top ranked Cardinals.
