VPA Announces Pairings i n Baseball, Softball, and Lacrosse

MONTPELIER — The Vermont Principals Association has announced the seedings and pairings for the state baseball, softball, and lacrosse tournaments which will get underway with playdown round action on Tuesday.

In baseball CVU is the top seed in Division One, followed by number two Brattleboro, number three Colchester and number four South Burlington.
In Division Two the top seed in baseball is Lamoille, followed by number two Harwood, number three Otter Valley and number four Enosburg.
The top seed in Division Three baseball is Windsor, followed by number two Green Mountain Union, number three Oxbow and number four People’s Academy.
The top baseball seed in Division Four goes to South Royalton, followed by number two Danville, number three Black River and number four Rivendell.

In softball Essex is the top seed in Division One, followed by number two Mt. Anthony, number three North Country and number four Lyndon Institute.
In Division Two softball the top seed goes to Mt. Abraham, followed by number two Fair Haven, number three Lake Region and number four Enosburg.
In Division Three softball the top seeded school is Green Mountain Union, followed by number two Oxbow, number three People’s Academy and number four Leland and Gray.
In Division Four softball the top seed is Whitchester, followed by number two West Rutland, number three Proctor and number four Danville.

In lacrosse the top seed in boys Division One is CVU, followed by number two Woodstock, number three BFA St. Albans and number four South Burlington.
In boys Division Two lax the top seed belongs to Harwood, followed by number two Stowe, number three Hartford and number four Stratton Mountain.

In girls lax the top D-1 seed belongs to CVU, followed by number two Brattleboro, number three Middlebury and number four Mt. Anthony.
In Division Two girls lax the top seed is the Green Mountain Valley School. The second seed goes to U-32, followed by number three Hartford and number four Lamoille.

The fun begins with 52 playdown games on Tuesday.
