Let’s face it! It’s about Tukka Rask in game 7 between the Bruins and the Toronto in their NHL series tonight. If the good Tukka shows up, the Bruins will win. If the bad Tukka shows up, the Bruins will lose. I believe it’s as simple as that. I know the Bruins first line has to show up, but it’s about the goalie. I’ve made it clear that I don’t think Tukka is elite and I never have. Elite goalies come up big in games like tonight. Tukka Rask’s record in elimination games is 5-11 including 1-2 in game 7’s. He better win his 2nd game 7 tonight because if not this Bruins team will go down in history as a team that blew a 3-1 lead and this once promising season is right down the drain!
When the Bruins won the Cup in 2011, keep in mind that Tim Thomas even though he had some bad games he won three game 7’s including a 1-0 game 7 against Tamp Bay. Too bad Tim Thomas isn’t walking through that door tonight!
