I went 6-7 in week #10 in high school football and my overall record is now 87-60.
Another sidelight from high school football championship day on Saturday. Brattleboro’s Tony Martinez caught 5 passes for 90 yards for Castleton in its 38-20 victory over Dean. His grandmother was at the game,but his grandfather Tim Johnson couldn’t be there because Tim was broadcasting the Brattleboro-Bellows Falls Division 2 state championship game on WTSA Radio in Brattleboro. Tim was broadcasting the game with Billy Holiday and Billy was a member of Brattleboro’s 1965 state championship football team. Billy also coached Brattleboro to a boys basketball Division 1 state championship in 1986.
Tim Johnson is a busy guy because he is also the town clerk in Vernon.
