Well so much for talk of 19-0. Not that I didn’t think that was a bunch of nonsense anyway.

I know Tom Brady wasn’t great even though he did throw for 267 yards and the offense left some points on the board, but this was about the defense! Of course it was! It allowed 42 total points and 21 coming in the 4th quarter and in the 2nd half two long touchdown passes. Remember the Patriots led 27-21 after three quarters. The Patriots are 0-1 and I wouldn’t be surprised if they are 0-2 because next week they play at New Orleans and to take nothing away from Alex Smith and he was terrific, but he ain’t Drew Brees. The defense has to be better especially if Dont’a Hightower is out for any length of time. To me he is the biggest key on the Pats defense.

The only good thing about last night’s game is that I have Kareem Hunt on one of my fantasy teams.

The other thing that made me even sicker than the game was those stupid Roger Goodell clown nose tee shirts or towels or whatever they were. Also that stupid clown nose billboard. Let it go! You won the Super Bowl! That whole clown nose stuff was classless and bush league!
