A day early, but Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
It was a dominating performance by the Rutland High boys basketball team last night at the UVM Patrick Gym as the Raiders romped over St. Johnsbury 60-35. Rutland is now 22-0 and has won 39 straight.
So it’s the Division 1 state championship tomorrow at 3PM and I say the Raiders close the deal and go back to back, wrap-up a perfect season and even out the winning streak at 40!
Two girls basketball state championship games tonight at the Barre Auditorium and I say MSJ wins its 4th straight state title in Division 4 and Fair Haven takes its 2nd state title in 3 years in Division 2. Call me a homer, but that’s the way I see it.
By the way I look for Windsor to win the Division 3 boys basketball state championship tomorrow night at the Barre Auditorium!
