I will first say that I did not hear Jerry Remy’s comments about not liking to have Masahiro Tanaka’s interpreter go to the mound the other night in the Red Sox vs. Yankee game so I’ll qualify my remarks with maybe it sounds worse when you hear it, but on the surface my opinion is what is the big deal? Personally I don’t have a problem with it, but if Remy doesn’t like it so what? It’s his opinion during a broadcast of a game. That’s it to me! Again “Much Ado About Nothing”. Now Remy has apologized so case closed in my opinion. If there is something politically incorrect there I don’t see it. Remy said there is a baseball language that should be used. Now if he was criticizing Tanaka for not being able to speak English, that’s a different story, but if he didn’t… Again “What is the big deal?
