I love it when Yankee fans bash Boston announcers. Actually I don’t love it. Really? You can say all you want about any Boston announcer, but John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman? Come on man! You have got to be kidding me! Also how can anybody criticize Joe Buck [a national announcer of course] and defend John Sterling? It’s like criticizing Picasso and defending paint by numbers.
By the way I don’t mind John Sterling’s schtick with the home-run calls and all that as I actually get a kick out of it, but the problem with Sterling is that he just plain sucks! Google John Sterling bloopers sometime. You’ll love it!
Suzyn Waldman is so bad that believe me when I say she couldn’t get a job at a small market radio station in Vermont. Yes she is that bad! The biggest market in the country and the most premier team in sports and they have a broadcast team like Sterling and Waldman. It’s so unbelievable, it’s almost tragic!
Speaking of sucking, have you ever heard the Jim Rome Show on CBS Radio? It’s like a show for 2 year olds with Rome leading the way. It’s pathetic!
