In college football with Ohio State getting into the “Final 4” without playing in the conference championship game let alone winning it last year and not getting into the “Final 4” this year despite winning the Big 10 championship game I wonder how important those conference championship games really are. Alabama didn’t even win its division, let alone the conference championship game and gets into the “Final 4”.  I’ve mentioned here before that it’s like losing in the divisional round in the NFL and still getting to the Super Bowl. Of course Georgia, Oklahoma and Clemson did win their conference championship games too. The culprit of course is Wisconsin because if the Badgers won, they are the 4th team and not Alabama.

All that being said I do believe Alabama is one of the 4 best teams in the country and very well could be the best team in the country.

Still don’t believe every game is a separate entity? Auburn clobbered Georgia two weeks ago, but lost to Georgia this week.

So Syracuse beats Clemson and Boston College beats Syracuse so BC beats Clemson right? That answer to that is no of course because Clemson did beat Boston College this season.

Yes it was a stupid and cheap shot by Rob Gronkowski at the end of the Pats-Buffalo game yesterday. I wouldn’t be surprised if Gronk gets suspended and fined or just fined. Not that I pay much attention to it, but I don’t think a player gets suspended in every similar case. Anyway Gronk does deserve whatever punishment is coming his way. I saw an idiot on facebook say he should be suspended for the rest of the season. Yea right! Another objective sports fan! And fans still have the audacity to talk about the media. Go figure!
