It’s funny that after the first game of the season baseball is treated like it’s football. There are 161 games left, not 15 games left.
I will say this after the first game of the season though that I think that Giancarlo Stanton guy is pretty good.
Sunday is Easter of course, but it’s also April Fool’s Day. I remember the April Fool’s article in Sports Illustrated back in 1985. He pitched for the Mets and could throw 168 miles per hour. I believed it. Did you? It seemed entirely possible to me that a pitcher could throw 168 miles per hour.
I don’t really have a rooting interest in the “Final 4”, but wouldn’t it be a great story if Loyola of Chicago won it all? I’m dating myself, but I remember when Loyola of Chicago won it all in 1963!
