With all the talk of the meaningless bowl games in college football, the two worst games were the two that counted…the Peach Bowl and the Fiesta Bowl. Hope the national championship game is better. It was last year.

Many of the meaningless bowl games have been great and the Rose Bowl yesterday was a classic!

I don’t know if Curt Schilling is a Hall of Famer or not. I see the arguments on both sides, but if anybody would keep him out because of his political beliefs that would be disgusting!

Interesting to note that Schilling has 216 career wins, but Pedro Martinez had 219 wins and he’s in the Hall of Fame. Bartolo Colon, who is still active, has 233 career wins. I don’t hear too many people who say that Colon is a Hall of Famer.

I was watching the Dallas-Philadelphia game when Angels star Mike Trout got a souvenir football after a Philly touchdown. Trout is an Eagles season ticket holder. That’s great, but the best Trout could do was a front row seat in the end zone?
