Chris Sale is going to the Red Sox!

That’s the big story from the winter meetings. It of course doesn’t guarantee anything, but I like it! As an old and I mean old Red Sox fan I don’t care about the future, I want championships now!

I’m being somewhat facetious , but the Red Sox major league line-up is young so they are the future and they are the present! It looks like the best of both worlds to me.

If you are a Red Sox fan and you have any doubts about the Sale trade look at it this way….. If the Yankees made the trade and not the Red Sox would you be sick to your stomach right now? I sure would be!
