High School Football Division 2 State Championship

The Division 2 high school football championship game will be this Saturday at 2PM at Rutland’s Alumni Field. It will be #1 seed Burr and Burton against #2 seed and defending state champion Fair Haven. Burr and Burton is 9-1 and Fair Haven is 8-2 and they should burn up the scoreboard with their high powered offenses.
Burr and Burton is 1-2 in state championship games and is looking for its 2nd state title and first since 2015, It’s the 2nd Burr and Burton vs. Fair Haven state championship game as Fair Haven defeated Burr and Burton in the 2011 state title game.
Fair Haven is looking for its 7th state title and 2nd straight. Fair Haven is 6-8 in state title games.
Slater coach Brian Grady is looking for his 4th state title and 2nd with Fair Haven. He won two with MSJ in Division 1 and is looking to go back to back at Fair Haven as he did with MSJ in 1998 and 1999.
Burr and Burton defeated Fair Haven 48-14 in the regular season match-up in week 4.
