Getting Even For 1968 And Spoiled Ivy League Brats

By Jack Healey
In 1968 Harvard “beat” Yale 29 -29 in football as Harvard scored 16 points in the final 42 seconds. Calvin Hill who went on to play in the NFL for Dallas and Washington played for Yale in that game. He is the father of former Duke standout basketball player Grant Hill. Actor Tommy Lee Jones whose roommate was Al Gore was a starting offensive lineman for Harvard.
In 2019 Yale came back from two touchdowns down in the final minute and a half to beat Harvard 50-43 in double overtime. Yale earned a share of the Ivy league title with Dartmouth.
The game last Saturday was somewhat overshadowed by the ridiculous protest by a couple of hundred nitwits right before the start of the 2nd half.
I don’t care what the reason was for the protest. “It was a couple of hundred stuff shirt Ivy league brats. They were horses asses.” Yes they were Ivy Leaguers, but you can also call them nitwits. There are actually people who think they did a wonderful thing. They disrupted an enjoyable experience for thousands of others just to virtually show how special they think they are. They aren’t special! They are disgusting!
By the way because the 2nd half was delayed the end of the game was played as darkness was falling and there are no lights at the Yale Bowl. As I said they are nitwits!
