David Price, JBJ, World Series Bound And High School Football Week #8

By Jack Healey

I said Houston in 6 and the Red Sox won in 5. I love it when I’m wrong like that.
David Price was great and of course Jackie Bradley Jr. gets the series MVP. Now it’s on to the World Series!
Final weekend of the regular season in high school football and it has gone by so fast.
Rutland will be at Burlington/South Burlington tonight on NSN at 7. the game will be played at Burlington High School. Rutland would get the #1 seed with a victory and could fall all the way to #4 with a loss and victories by Rice, Hartford and Mt. Mansfield.
Lyndon will be at St. Johnsbury tomorrow. It’s the 114th edition of the game. Call me a homer, but I always considered the now defunct MSJ-Rutland rivalry the best, but that rivalry started in 1930. The first Lyndon-St. Johnsbury game was played in 1894!
Last week I went 10-3 in my high school football pickings and now stand at 75-30.
Here goes in week #8:
