Baseball, Football And Hockey! Oh My!

By Jack Healey

If they say it’s the match-up everybody wanted to see they didn’t ask me! I wanted a Red Sox-Oakland match-up, but it is the match-up I really expected because I gave Oakland virtually no chance last night and I was right. A nice season for Oakland, but what does it all mean? Nothing! Absolutely nothing!
I wrote here after the Red Sox swept the Yankees in early August that Sox fans shouldn’t get too giddy because if the Yankees won the wildcard game it’s right back to square one. Well it’s back to square one! This time the Yankees are healthy and Chris Sale is a huge question mark and for the millionth time so is the Sox bullpen.
Sorry I don’t have a good feeling about this one and I say the Yankees in 4.
In the National League I say Milwaukee over Colorado in 4 and the Dodgers over the Braves in 5.
I got Houston over Cleveland in 5 in the other AL Division series.
It’s only one game and it was a total team effort in the loss, but let me say for the first time in the new season that Tukka Rask is not elite.
NFL Week #5. I went 11-4 last week and stand at 35-26 overall.
