UTICA, NY — Freshman Ian Wiilams banged home the game winner at the 11:40 mark of overtime, giving the Norwich Cadets a 5-4 win over the Adrian Bulldogs in their NCAA Division Three semi-final showdown on Friday night inside the Utica Memorial Auditorium.

Defenseman Jake Erickson scored two goals and Will Pellitier and Kevin Savucci also scred for the Cadets, who recovered after the Bulldogs scored twice inthe last five minutes of regulation to wipe out a 4-2 Norwich lead and force the extra session.

Braden Ostepchuk made 32 saves for the Cadets who advance to meet Trinity, a3-2 winner over St. Norbert in the other semi-final, in the national championship game on Saturday night.
