The University of Vermont ski team wraps up the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association Circuit this Saturday and Sunday at the Eastern Championships hosted by Middlebury. The races were originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday but have been moved to Saturday and Sunday due to the weather. The alpine events will be held at the Middlebury Snow Bowl while the Nordic events will be held at the Rikert Touring Center in Middlebury, Vt.

HANCOCK, Mass. - Junior Chris Colpitts (Squaw Valley, Calif.), junior Valerie Kechian (Tuxedo, N.Y.) and sophomore Franz Bernstein (Unterthingau, Germany) all earned first-place finishes and a total of 14 different Catamounts had top-10 performances to put Vermont in first place after day one of the Williams Carnival at Jiminy Peak and Prospect Mountain. Vermont has 494 points as a team while Dartmouth is in second place with 435 points.
