Morgan Young recorded a hat trick as BFA-Fairfax disposed of the visiting Oxbow Olympians, 3-0.
Olivia Root had a pair of assists in the first half, with Young finishing on both of them, to lift Fairfax to a 2-0 advantage at intermission.
Young added a third and final goal in the second half.
“We had a couple of good opportunities early,” Oxbow coach Brian Musty said. “But they pretty much controlled after that.”
Karley Hamilton gave a good effort to keep the Olympians close as she made 16 saves. “She played very well in net,” Musty said of his keeper. “I also thought McKenzie Garone and Willow Smith worked very hard in the midfield.”
Casey Baczewski made seven saves in the shutout for Fairfax.
The loss closes out the Olympians regular season with a 10-2-2 record.
