I forgot. I was reminded how boring NFL pre-season games are.
Who would ever bother to take the time to go to one of those games? What a waste of time.

As I heard somebody say on WEEI in Boston this morning that the Red Sox have hit rock bottom for about the 32nd time.......
This stat too which is unbelievable .... The Cleveland Indians' pitching staff leads the league in walks[they actually fired their pitching coach yesterday] and yet the Red Sox only drew one walk last night. That was Jacoby Ellsbury in the first at bat of the game. That's great plate discipline. Heck I don't care how many runs the Sox have scored this year, they ought to fire their hitting coach after that fiasco.
Again stealing from WEEI, the Sox actually hit into that routine 6-5-6-4 double play.

I can live with that imminent 4 team NBA trade where Dwight Howard ends up with the Lakers if the Lakers not only give up Andrew Bynam, but also give up Pau Gasol. If the Lakers get to keep Gasol, which is the latest news, that would be ridiculous. If there ever was a trade that should be disallowed, it should be this one.

I watched most of the little league game yesterday as Connecticut defeated South Burlington 4-3 in 8 innings. It was a great effort by South Burlington who lost to Connecticut 17-1 earlier in the tournament. Kudos to coach Ed Hockenbury too. What a class act!
It is one of the top state sports stories of 2012!
