Hey Bruins fans ... you getting nervous?

The B's got their tails kicked last night in Buffalo ... whipped by the Sabres 6-0. Tuukka Rask started ... gave up three ... Tim Thomas came on in relief ... he gave up three ... and Boston fell to 5-6-1 in their last dozen games. So like I said ... are you getting nervous?

Well a couple of things ... first off the B's got shutout last night ... but they did get 36 shots on Buffalo's Ryan Miller ... who lest you forget is a pretty good goaltender. Beyond that, every team goes through a slump or two over the course of a long season. In all likelihood this is just one of those ... probably ...

Wild hockey game last night in Plattsburgh ... this really was that prototypical game where whichever team that scores last wins ... and it was the Norwich women who scored last ... in overtime to beat Plattsburgh State 8-7. Check out this run ... 1-0 Norwich ... 2-1 Plattsburgh ... 2-2 ... 4-2 Plattsburgh ... 5-4 Norwich ... 6-5 Plattsburgh ... 6-6 ... 7-6 Plattsburgh ... 7-7 after regulation ... and then Rene Lortie buries the game winner 45 seconds into OT. I'll have to call my friend Ducky Drake, the voice of the Cardinals, later today. He got to do the play by play on that game and I'm curious if he has any voice left.
