The Danville Indians evened their record at 2-2 with a 64-53 victory over Richford.
Danville saw three players reach double-digit scoring totals as they pulled away to a 37-16 halftime lead before cruising to the victory.
Scott Remick put up 16 points to pace the Indians offense. “Scott had a great game, not just leading the team in scoring, but as the floor general,” DHS coach Scott Rainville said of his senior point guard. Rainville also commended the effort of Jacob Mills. “He continues to improve on both ends of the floor.” Mills chipped in 14 points while Bret Elliot tossed in 12.
Brett McAllister tried his best to pull Richford from behind to earn the victory as he put up a game-high 24 points. Teammate Hunter Clark chipped in with 13. Richford tallied 24 fourth quarter points to make things interesting, out-scoring the Indians by 17 in the frame.
Danville will take a week off for the holidays before returning to action at home Thursday against Concord.
