Thompson reaches 1,000 point milestone in BMU win

Behind Aimee Thompson's 29 points and a stifling Bucks defense, the girls from Blue Mountain took down Danville in both team's season opener, 49-33.

Thompson's 29 points helped her surpass the 1,000 point milestone as she was 17 points shy entering the contest.

Pam Greaves led the Danville offense with 13 points.

The Bucks jumped out to a 10 point first quarter lead and never looked back as they kept the Indians in single digits for the first three quarters of play.
