Deuell nets 1,000 point

Johnson State College is proud to add Andrea Deuell as the 7th member of the 1000pt club in schools history.
This past weekend, Andrea Deuell, Sr. Guard from Milton, VT, needed 46pts to join the 1000 point club. This would be no easy feat as JSC traveled to Maine to face perennialpowerhouses Husson University and Maine-Maritime Acediem on Friday and Saturday night. Deuell would not be denied, starting out hot Friday scorching the nets for a career and game high of 30pts, the 5'2" senior guard did all she could to help the Badgers win their final game on saturday. Coming into Saturday's game vs MMA, Deuell needed 13 pts to eclipse 1000. Her season average is 15ppg. Deuell jumped out to a quick first half scoring 11pts. She earned her 999 and 1000 pt from the foul line. Deuell finished the game leading the Badgers once again with a game high 26pts.
