The Danville Indians saw a huge offensive output as they took down Richford, 70-56.
Tony Burrington poured in eight first quarter points to help the Indians offense to get off to a strong start. DHS led 17-9 after the opening frame and they continued to spread the lead by putting up 19 and 24-points in the second and third quarters respectively.
After a slow first half offensively for Richford, Brett McAllister and Hunter Clark gave a good effort to try to close the gap. The duo combined to score 16 points in the third quarter but it wasn't enough to close the gap against the high powered offense of Danville. McAllister finished with a game-high 21 points while Clark dropped in 15.
Kyle Johnson continued his strong play for DHS as he put in a team-high 19 points while Burrington finished with 15. Brett Elliott added 10.
"It was a good team win," DHS coach Scott Rainville said. "We received quality play from all."
