White reaches 1,000-point plateau
LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — It didn’t take long for Naomi White to write her name onto the long list of 1,000 point scorers at Lyndon State College Tuesday evening.
Needing only seven points to eclipse the mark, the senior forward scored the first eight points of the game to accomplish the feat and lead the Hornets to a 76-43 victory over Johnson State.
White buried two three-point field goals in the first three minutes of the contest
before connecting on a free throw a few seconds later to reach the prestigious scoring mark. She finished the contest with 20 points, 17 rebounds and two assists as

Lyndon improved to 7-12 overall and 5-8 in the North Atlantic Conference.
