The winless Northfield Marauders made a fourth quarter run against Danville but the Indians held off the charge to earn a 56-53 victory.
Danville seemingly had the victory in the bag but a 26 points explosion in the fourth for the home team Marauders made things interesting.
"We played well for three quarters," DHS coach Scott Rainville said. "We lost our composure in the fourth but we were able to regroup and hold off an excited Northfield team."
Northfield's Brad Medow led all scorers with 16 points and teammate Zach Daley added 13 while Jacob Mills paced Danville's attack with 14. The Indians also saw Tony Burrington toss in 13.
Danville improves to 7-3 with the win.
Tyler Ellis added 10 points for Northfield.
Danville returns to action on Wednesday when they take on their rivals from Hardwick, Hazen Union.
