The Danville Indians bounced back from last week's loss against Twinfield with a solid victory against Div. III Peoples Academy. A big third quarter gave the Indians just enough as they held off the Wolves, 52-46.
Scott Remick paced the Danville offense with 14 points while sophomore Kyle Johnson tossed in 10. Jacob Mills and Tony Burrington each added nine in the win.
Peoples was led by Eli Wilder's 17 while Seppe Angione added nine.
"Defensively Jon Kimball and Kyle Johnson did some really nice things tonight," Danville coach Scott Rainville said. "Overall it was a good win against a good team."
The win lifts Danville to 6-3 while Peoples falls even at 4-4. DHS returns to action on Friday at Northfield.
