Indians roll past Stowe

The Danville Indians took a convincing 32-11 halftime lead against host Stowe and rolled from there to a 65-31 victory.

Sophomores Brett Elliot and Kyle Johnson carried the load offensively for the Indians as they tossed in 16 and 10-points, respectively. The Indians offense, however, was pretty balanced as 10 players reached the scoring column.

"Brett and Kyle both had good games on both sides of the ball," DHS coach Scott Rainville said. He also credited his point guard Scott Remick who "is doing a great job of running our offense."

Jon Kimball chipped in with nine points in the Danville victory.

Stowe was led by sophomore guard Petey Walsh who had 14 points.

The win lifts Danville to 5-2. They return to action on Wednesday when they host Twinfield in a rematch of last year's Div. IV title game. Tipoff slated for 7 p.m.
