Norwich returning to Fenway Park for the first time in 97 years

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University will be returning to Fenway Park for the first time in 97 years as the No. 1-ranked men’s ice hockey team will take on Babson College outdoors on Friday, Jan. 13 at 3:30 p.m. as a part of Sun Life Frozen Fenway 2012.
The Cadets (6-0-0, 4-0-0 ECAC East) and Babson are the first game slated in a Division I and Division III hockey doubleheader on Friday with Union taking on Harvard at 7 p.m. in the nightcap.
Norwich last made an appearance at Fenway Park on Oct. 31, 1914 when the football team lost to Boston College 28-6.
Tickets for the Jan. 13 hockey doubleheader will go on sale at noon today and can be purchased by phone at 877-REDSOX9 or online at redsox.com/frozenfenway.
